• November 1 2006 - Montreal Chapter of Dysautonomia has become a founding sponsor of the Montreal Jewish Hereditary Disease Fund. This fund will sponsor and promote genetics testing for common Jewish genetics diseases in the Montreal Area.

• October 17, 2006 - Weizmann Institute Presentation on Genetic Diseases promotes testing on several Diseases including Familial Dysautonomia. Announcements made about Familial Dysautonomia inclusion in the Testing service provided by The Montreal Children's Hospital's BioChemical Genetic's Department.
